Areas of Concentration
POSMARH develops its research activities in the area of Climate and Environmental Management, understood as a current and necessary field of knowledge that seeks to identify, understand, discuss, and propose solutions to the socio-environmental challenges that arise from the relationship between society, climate, water resources, and the environment, in order to ensure improvements and sustainability for ecosystems and the population.
RESEARCH LINES
Nature Management and Conservation
aims to develop research that seeks to understand and propose solutions, based on scientific and technological principles, to avoid, reduce and/or eliminate the damage or problems caused by human actions on the environment and water resources, satisfying the needs and aspirations of current and future generations and guaranteeing the survival of living beings.
Climate Change and Resilience
aims to develop research that contributes to the understanding of weather and climate phenomena, as well as the associated climate changes and their consequences for the environment and society, in addition to building resilience through improved capacity for forecasting, preparing for, and adapting to different forms of natural disasters.
